C and C++ in Galileo with Jupyter Lab

Experimenting with C and C++ in Galileo is straightforward with Jupyter Lab. Start by creating a new Jupyter Lab Project in from the Mission tab home page and select the Jupyter Mission type. For the Mission version select “Lab” and set a password you will use for logging into your lab session (password can be changed at any time).

Once you create the new Mission, be sure to add any of your source code or input files to the Mission file tree. Next, run it in the free Linux Station, and click the “Go to URL tunnel” button.

Enter your password in the login page. Once your into the Lab, start a terminal session.

Here you will have the g++ and gcc compilers available to you and vi as a text editor. You can also use the built in text file editor that comes with Jupyter Lab.
